Papier Mâché is the french word for “mashed paper.” Having been around for quite some time, papier mâché, when it dries, is extremely strong but very light making it a great material to use for everything from jewelry boxes, bowls, trays, sculptures, props, and masks.
The following five bloggers show you with their do it yourself techniques and strategies how to make your own personalized papier mâché sculptures. This is the perfect activity to do by yourself or with friends and can make a whimsical and lasting piece for you or for someone close to your heart.

The French Bulldog
This one is my personal favorite. This blog, among many other papier mâché projects, teaches you via written instructions and online video how to make a French Bulldog sculpture. With their large bat-shaped ears, compressed nose and wrinkles, short neck and strong legs, this adorable sculpture of the pup is a keeper!

I love paper mache! Thank you for showing my paper mache Bat listed on Etsy! Paper mache is such a versatile art, you can do so much with it. I have even made things to use around the house, like a funnel that screws onto my bird seed container to easily fill it, I incorporated a milk jug handle to hold onto while filling! I just paper mached around the screw top of my container, and when it was dry, I unscrewed it and can screw it back on for a tight fit when it needs refilling. As an Art form, you can make just about anything you can think of or imagine!
Again, thank you for including my hanging bat on your blog!
