I’ve got something new up my sleeves and I’m bursting at the seams to share it with you. I’ve started recording episodes for a new podcast, The Inspiration Place.

This podcast is unlike anything else I’ve listened to and is something that I wish had been around for me when I first started ( and still do!) It’s a podcast for artists by artists about the art world. I’ll be inviting industry experts to dive into the psychology of pricing art, how to get attention online, how to develop an abundance mindset (rather than a starving artist mindset.)  and many more hot-button topics like finding your life purpose and profiting from your passion.

About podcasts

In case you are unfamiliar with podcasts and how they work, they are free audio shows- basically like an old-fashioned radio talk show, that you can listen to whenever you want. (and yes, these are free. Anyone with a smartphone can listen in)

It’s ready now! Here’s where you can listen:

ABOUT THE ARTIST

In case we haven’t met yet, I’m an artist and founder of The Inspiration Place, where I help other artists learn how to profit from their passion or become better artists. Through online classes, business coaching programs, and a top-ranked podcast, I’ve helped thousands of artists around the world develop their skill sets and create more time and freedom to do what they love. My signature coaching program, The Artist Incubator, helps artists go from so-so sales to sold-out collections.

A graduate of Dartmouth College and M.I.T, I initially pursued finance but after witnessing 9/11, I abandoned a lucrative hedge fund job to work on my art full time. Since then, my art and my story have been featured in major publications including Forbes, The New York Times, Art of Man, Art Journaling magazine as well as featured on NBC’s “Parenthood” and the Amazon series “Hunters” with Al Pacino. My forthcoming book with HarperCollins Leadership on how to make it as an artist is scheduled to be released January 31, 2023. When I’m not in the studio, you can find me hanging out with my husband, adult kids, and a tuxedo cat named Ebony. I’d love to invite you to check out one of my free resources for art lovers (of every passion level) at schulmanart.com/freebies

What do you want to hear?

Since I’m still in the planning stages, I would LOVE to hear from YOU!

Although I’ll be inviting a few artists to chat with me about our insights and strategies, there will also be interesting conversations with art world insiders.

Let me know in the comments below what topics you’d like to hear about or which guests you’d be interested in having me bring on!

  1. Thank you for asking! I would like to hear how other artists schedule their creative time. Sometimes life gets in the way and I find I haven’t created in (too long) of a time.

  2. I am recently trying acrylic pours with paintings on top of some of the pours….can you speak on the usage of glitter glass and how to tell the difference between it and other so glitter glass in the stores or online please? Also what is the best silicone to use (that is not toxic) when mixing with the acrylic paint for cells in the paint? Thank you.
