100th Podcast Episode Giveaway
Not only are we talking about such an important topic on today’s episode, but I’ve also got something incredibly exciting to share with you!
In honor of my 100th episode I wanted to create something extra special. That’s why I’m giving one person the opportunity to get 1 hour of FREE art coaching from me – and as the winner you can decide if you want business coaching or art coaching — or if you just want to chat like two old friends– I’m game for that as well.
How to Enter The 100th Episode Contest
Make a short video — less than a minute — telling me what you love most about the Inspiration Place Podcast and why you would benefit from coaching.
Post your video on Instagram and tag @schulmanart + #theinsprationplace in the description. This can be on IG STORIES or in your IG feed.
Those are the ground rules. Now here are some pointers for creating your entry:
- This isn’t a “technology” contest. I’m not going to pick somebody just because they used a lot of fancy video effects, but if video production is your jam, then go for it! Do whatever helps you express yourself the most.
- My team and I will select one winner based on your your willingness to be vulnerable + your enthusiasm.
- You have until Monday August 3, to post your video.
- We’ll announce the winner on Monday, August 10, by putting it into the show notes here and, of course, contacting the winner. I will probably be talking about it all around social media because I’ll be way too excited to keep it inside!
Don’t Be Shy!
I know it’s a big step to put yourself out there with this whole video entry thing. But I really want to encourage you to do so!
I’d also like to take a minute to thank you immensely for following me on my journey of creating this podcast. It truly is one of the most favorite things I do inside my business. It has probably made the biggest impact in my ability to reach a bigger audience and connect with you and grow my business overall.
Thank you so very much for letting me do what I love. I cannot wait to continue this podcast with more and more episodes about building your art business and creating the confident abundant mindset you need to step out in a big way, plus all the cool stuff I get to talk about. Here’s to the next 100 episodes!
CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT:
After reviewing each submission, I’m so excited to announce that the winner of the 1-hour private art coaching session with me is:
🎉Joann Marie Milner!🎉
Joann, I cannot wait to connect with you in person to map out a plan to knock your art business out of the park. Please email support@theinspirationplace.net to schedule your coaching session.
I KNOW it was not easy to make a video and put yourself out there like that. Thank you for taking the time to share a little piece of yourself with me. Although I could only choose one winner, your video truly mattered to me!

About the host, Miriam Schulman
In case we haven’t met yet, I’m an artist and founder of The Inspiration Place, where I help other artists learn how to profit from their passion. Through online classes, business coaching programs, and a top-ranked podcast, I’ve helped thousands of artists around the world develop their skill sets and create more time and freedom to do what they love. My signature coaching program, The Artist Incubator, helps artists go from so-so sales to sold-out collections.
After witnessing 9/11, I abandoned a lucrative hedge fund job to work on my art full time. Since then, my art and story have been featured in major publications including Forbes, What Women Create, The New York Times, Art of Man, Art Journaling magazine, Professional Artist Magazine, Igniting Creativity as well as featured on NBC’s “Parenthood” and the Amazon series “Hunters” with Al Pacino. Check out my best-selling book with HarperCollins Leadership, Artpreneur: The Step-by-Step Guide to Making a Sustainable Living From Your Creativity, wherever books are sold. When I’m not in the studio, I split my time between New York City and a farmhouse in the country. I’d love to invite you to check out one of my free resources for art lovers (of every passion level) at schulmanart.com/freebies

Art is a vehicle for processing…
☆☆☆☆☆
“Art is one of the much needed vehicles for healing and processing right now, and Miriam lays out great examples as to how that’s happened in history in EP 97. But she also doesn’t leave the business aspect on the table as I’ve seen many people do. Art is a way to create and make a living doing it, and diving into that for multiple mediums in the field really makes the show holistic. Also, I love the the painted rock problem conversation in EP 81!”

What’s the biggest bottleneck holding your art business back?
Maybe it feels like pricing. Maybe it’s finding the right collectors, choosing the right opportunities, or figuring out what deserves your attention next. Or maybe you can see 3 different directions your business could go, and you’re tired of guessing which one is right.
That’s what we’re working on at the Chelsea Artpreneur Studio, October 28–29 in New York City.
This isn’t a conference or another workshop where you leave with forty new ideas. I’m bringing together a small group of established artists for two days of hands-on strategy built around the actual problems you bring into the room. We’ll look at your business, figure out what’s really holding it back, make the decisions, and map out exactly what comes next.
You’ll also have a professional branding portrait session, plus plenty of time around the table with a small group of artists who take their businesses as seriously as you do.
You’ll leave knowing what’s actually holding your business back, what needs to change, and most of all, what to do next.
