with host artist Miriam Schulman
Journaling has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety. It’s known to help with finding inspiration as well. Since you are here, it’s a safe bet you too are looking for inspiration. We are deep diving into creative art journaling.
Creative journaling, also known as visual journaling and art journaling, is known to today’s guest, Abbey Sy, as travel journaling. Abbey is a published author, creative, influencer, and YouTuber with more than 40K subscribers.
In today’s conversation, Abbey details her creative experiences, combining her love for travel with editing, producing and so much more.
In this podcast, you will discover…
Travel journaling and creativity with Abbey Sy:
- Producing YouTube content and creative direction
- Having her travel journals published as zines

- Who is the future Abbey?
- Detailed account of being published
“Travel journaling has a really special place in my heart, and I really would like to share that with other people, and with others who would want to know more about it.” – Abbey Sy
Abbey’s obsession with art and her work ethic has created the opportunity to publish 7 books on all things creative and artsy, from hand lettering to calligraphy to her travel journals. Because creatives sometimes struggle with disciplined organization and productivity, Abbey also shares her best tip for staying productive.
“Enjoy the journey. Live in the moment and really embrace every part of it. The good, the bad, and all these little things that make it great.” -Abbey Sy
