Juicy colors of Bellflower Purple, Cabaret Pink and Tangerine Tango
|A Lilac bedroom is the soft backdrop for Dragonfly Art|
A friend just told me that out of all my paintings she loves my dragonflies the best. I had also recently sold out of all my original dragonfly paintings so I figured it was time to create some more. The dragonfly image is pretty much the same on all of them. I chose a soaring dragonfly with golden gossamer wings. After carefully rendering the image of the dragonfly on canvas, I add swirls and dips using my masque pen. Then I apply washes of gorgeous transparent watercolor paint. you can see a Watercolor Demonstration video on youtube about how I create these paintings.

Love love love this seasons new colors! Especially Solar Power and Tangerine Tango…
they remind me of my bedroom when I was a girl – I remember picking out my own wall paper and it was big huge yellow and orange watercolor flowers… it was such a sunny, happy feeling!
isn't this colour combination fabulous!
Emily from http://www.etsy.com/shop/AnnaDelores did a fabulous job of assembling the treasury.
Thanks for including my coin zip! I am a huge Tangerine Tango fan…although looking at the way you've incorporated the other colors in your beautiful paintings, I'm starting to be a fan of those as well :).
Thanks so much for including my tie in your beautiful blog!
Thank you so much for including my confetti in your wonderful blog! I also like Tangerine Tango. It is so bright and is a great reminder that Spring and Summer will be here soon!
