What is Creative JumpStart?
If you haven’t heard about it yet from my other blog posts, Creative JumpStart is an online course featuring 24 artists. I will be joining the fray and sharing fun techniques using watercolor markers and watercolor sticks.
For those of you who might be curious about the other teachers on this team I want to introduce you to just a few of them who I think will also knock your socks off. All of these talented folks will be sharing their own perspectives using watercolor supplies. Their styles range from the very whimsical to the most traditional of realists…
Take a peek!
Andrea Gomoll is a multi-talented artist from Germany. She hasn’t revealed her project for Creative JumpStart 2016, but she shared with me that she will be teaching some fabulous watercolor techniques. I was so thrilled when I learned Andrea was part of this artsy team. I discovered her whimsical videos on youtube.
Jane LaFazio is a watercolorist and quilter from San Diego whom I recently met in Colorado. Here is a sneak peek at the watercolor she is creating for Creative JumpStart 2016
Are you intrigued by the watercolor sticks and watercolor markers? Well, I found out I am not the only artist who is using them in the Creative Jumpstart series. Tori Weyers of Indiana will also be sharing inspiration using these fun supplies!
Mario Robinson is an amazing realistic watercolorist. Yes, that is a watercolor painting next to him in the photo… not a photo.. .and not a person looking through a frame. Unbelievable, right? He is a brand Ambassador for Winsor&Newton and has a book coming out soon on painting realistic watercolor. Want to know what watercolor techniques he will be sharing? The only way to find out is to join Creative Jumpstart!
