Emerald Green is Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year!

“Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty
that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.”

The Wizard of Oz got ii right when created a whole city that celebrates this color. I remember the last time it was popular in the eighties… I hwas in college and worked at Laura Ashley during my Christmas breaks when I was home for school and came back to college with green shoes and green sweaters. This color was tolerable also because green was my school colors ( Dartmouth) So yeah, I also had green sweatshirts and scarves too.

Modern Wall Art with Jewel Tones including Emerald Green

All in all I do love the color green which matches my eyes and never fails to calm me down. What do you think of Pantone selecting Emerald Green as color of the year?
