Why you can’t buy this art

This blog post is derived from a newsletter I recently sent out to my collectors. My collectors said they really enjoyed the newsletter about the art show because it showcases the kinds of people who buy my art, and makes it easier to identify themselves as one of my collectors.

So, I am republishing it here for you dear blog reader! {if you want to be a newsletter subscriber too, you can sign up and choose a free gift just for subscribing!→ learn more}

A Vicarious Visit to an Outdoor Art Show

Last Saturday, I had a beautiful day sharing my art outside in a local park. I got to meet many new art collectors and was happy to see some old friends stop by. Here are the highlights I want to share with you.

a peek inside my booth

Although the weather was beautiful all day, I still like setting up a booth so I can create a welcoming space for you.

Three paintings in this photo sold…Can you guess which ones?

Social Media Reaction

The above photo was just a casual shot I took with my phone to share on social media- yet it caused quite a stir. Are you on facebook?

You can see the fan reaction on my facebook fan page HERE

And these two originals also found new homes… can you read the fan reaction? click on the picture to take a closer look…

The Art that Got Away

You can no longer collect this original pig painting because Joan beat you to it.

But you can get a fine art print or commission a new original art on canvas.

The Day After

A lot of art is always collected in the days and weeks after an art show ends. This peacock was hidden on the back of my booth and I only had just finished it this month. I brought it to the collector’s home (yes, I do that) so she can show it to her husband and confirm that they both love it for their dining room.

I was absolutely in love with the decorating in this home. There was butterfly wallpaper in the foyer and original art everywhere. The collector showed me the absolutely fabulous teal fabric destined for the captain chairs. This peacock has found a good home for sure.

An Attitude of Gratitude

I am so grateful to all of you who came to the show and also shared the love vicariously on my facebook page.

much gratitude,

PS Sadly, I am not even sure that I have properly photographed the peacock painting above to offer it to you as a print. (but there are lots of other peacock prints in my etsy store, as well as other original peacock art you might like too) If I do have the photograph for print making, I will be sure to make it available to you soon. Do you want me to let you know?
